EquiMud is ideal for use in the frog, sulcus, and other shallow hoof crevices. Available in 200g and 400g tins.
EquiMud contains no harsh or corrosive ingredients known to degrade the beneficial microbiota and solar/frog tissue, in particular, it contains no copper sulphate and we have avoided the use of tea tree oil as this is an allergen for some equines.
The thick, yet smooth consistency provides for a very easy-to-apply product. If you can’t beat the mud, join it!
Clay is designed to stick to the hoof as mud would allow us to compete with debris and replace it with an effective purifying alternative.
EquiMud is also perfect for application when trimming and in use under 3D pads, glue on shoes, dental impression material, and during prolonged use of hoof boots.
In the case of packing deeper cracks and resections, EquiFibre is recommended.

By: Lilly on 16 August 2024This stuff has been a really pleasant surprise. I found a layer of it still stuck to the collateral grooves on the sides of the frog 3 days after smearing it in there. It certainly helps dry the frog and get rid of thrush in damp conditions. You can feel how drying it is on your hands. This is definitely a keeper in the hoof care kit.

Not mud but gold!
By: Caitlin T on 19 June 2024This stuff is brilliant. I have been struggling with stubborn thrush but after a few trims with this applied after each, it has disappeared. The texture is better than any hoof clay I have used before - much easier to apply and doesn't ball up. It smells good enough to eat.
